Flexible Training for Water Utilities

Lone Star WaterOps Training provides a way for water and wastewater utilities to manage employee training without forcing the organization into a one-size-fits-all program.

Regardless of the option selected, utilities can benefit from access to our year-round training calendar, course notifications, training and license-development support, records retention, new CEU course announcements, and important updates affecting Texas water and wastewater operators.

    Utilities may contact us directly and coordinate upcoming training for individual employees, departments, crews, or larger groups.

    We can work with utility supervisors, training coordinators, or management to:

    • Identify upcoming training needs

    • Pay the full invoice balance in one payment, or

    • Request an approved three-month installment plan with the total balance divided into scheduled invoice payments.

    • Review the year-round course calendar

    • Reserve employees into future courses

    • Coordinate multiple registrations at one time

    • Facilitate group or bulk course purchases

    • Organize training around licensing or certification deadlines

    • Maintain training documentation and completion records

    • Provide notifications regarding upcoming courses and new CEU opportunities

    • Help plan training needs in advance rather than registering employees one at a time

    This option is ideal for utilities that prefer a transactional, pay-as-needed approach without an ongoing membership commitment

    Payment arrangements must be established at the time of invoicing. Any applicable deposit or first installment must be received to secure the registration, and the remaining balance must be paid according to the payment schedule shown on the invoice.

SOP & Training Program Development Consultation

Schedule a consultation to discuss the development, revision, or improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), utility training programs, or structured training-program blueprints for your water or wastewater utility.

This consultation is designed to identify your organization’s operational needs, training gaps, existing procedures, workforce expectations, and program goals. Services may include SOP development, operator qualification frameworks, onboarding and progression plans, competency-based training structures, training documentation, and customized program blueprints.

Each consultation is tailored to the utility’s actual operations, staffing, equipment, policies, and training objectives, with an emphasis on developing practical, organized, and field-ready solutions that supervisors, trainers, and operators can implement.

Initial consultations are conducted remotely. Follow-up consultations may occur on-site with adequate scheduling.
